Kshymensky comes to the cage accompanied by no mercy T.I. Jesse Kshymensky had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Kshymensky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Smith! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kshymensky takes the fight into the clinch. Smith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kshymensky softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kshymensky is trying to trip Smith. He has hold of a leg but Smith is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kshymensky persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Smith looking to control.
Kshymensky won't allow Smith to sweep him here. Kshymensky sitting in guard here, content to control. Kshymensky gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kshymensky gets a clinch. Smith looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Smith gets underhooks to prevent Kshymensky's takedown attempt.
Kshymensky wants the takedown. Smith is fighting it off but Kshymensky persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Smith's guard against the cage. Kshymensky looking to sit in guard and control but Smith gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kshymensky is looking to sweep but instead, Smith has passed into half guard.
Still in half guard, Smith seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kshymensky keeps working. Kshymensky is trying to get back to full guard. Smith wants to control but Kshymensky is keeping him busy. Smith wants to free his trapped foot but Kshymensky is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kshymensky is trying to get back to full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Smith is trying to control. Kshymensky wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up. John Smith was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kshymensky fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Smith looks gassed! Kshymensky throws a series of strikes that have Smith backpedaling.
Kshymensky closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kshymensky lands in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kshymensky won't allow Smith to sweep him here. Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kshymensky stays in close to Smith's body and controls the position. Kshymensky stands up from Smith's guard - Kshymensky perhaps looking for a knockout. Kshymensky scores a takedown into full mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kshymensky get's back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kshymensky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nice strikes from Kshymensky there. Kshymensky performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith gets full guard. Kshymensky trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom. Smith has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kshymensky doesn't defend quickly enough and Smith has managed to lock this one up! Can Kshymensky escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Smith on a fantastic submission victory.
