The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotiropoulos fails to land with a series of punches.
Sotiropoulos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matsumoto's waist but Matsumoto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sotiropoulos off to one side.
Matsumoto scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like George Sotiropoulos has been cut.
Sotiropoulos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oooooh!!! Matsumoto has knocked Sotiropoulos down with a huge combo! Matsumoto steps away and waves a wobbly Sotiropoulos back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sotiropoulos is rocked!

Matsumoto lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sotiropoulos is looking to close the distance but Matsumoto sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sotiropoulos crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sotiropoulos is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
