Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Piper! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Campbell. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Piper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Piper tries to bench press Campbell off him but Campbell keeps the position. Campbell throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The strikes coming from Campbell are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Campbell working the strikes but Piper uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Piper is trying to control but can't.
Piper regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Campbell. Piper utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Piper holds on and takes a little breather. Piper preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Campbell lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Campbell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Campbell throws and elbow that misses. Piper uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Campbell's guard. Nice move by Piper! Campbell wants to sweep but no luck. Piper forces his way into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Piper passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Campbell! Piper controlling his opponent. Campbell regains half guard. Campbell is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Piper's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Piper's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell punishes Piper with strikes from the back mount. Piper covering up well under a barage of strikes. Campbell thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Even with his hooks in, Campbell manages to miss with strikes from the back. Piper covering up well and avoiding damage. Campbell lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Campbell throwing strikes and Piper squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted. Poor strikes thrown by Campbell there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. BOOM! Campbell connects with a massive shot to the dome!
A nice elbow there by Campbell. Campbell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Piper wants to control but Campbell is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Piper wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Campbell.

Campbell throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Piper because Campbell loaded up on that one. Campbell thowing shots but they're missing. Piper is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Piper manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. Campbell thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Piper to regain full guard. Piper looking to control.
Campbell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Campbell postures up in Piper's guard and throws a big left but Piper blocks it. Campbell throws a strike but Piper rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Piper wants to control from the top but Campbell keeps moving. Piper sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Campbell dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Piper lands a couple of digs. Campbell wants to sweep here but Piper controlling him for the moment. Campbell is working hard here to advance position. That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Piper pushes down on Campbell's leg and manages to get into half guard. Piper is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Piper wants to control but Campbell is keeping him busy. Piper wants to pass to mount but Campbell is defending the position. Piper throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Piper is trying to control the action in half guard but Campbell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Piper might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Campbell kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Piper is working Campbell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Piper pushing down on Campbell's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. Piper has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Campbell has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Campbell breaks Piper's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Peter Piper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Peter Piper hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Campbell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Piper napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sloppy strikes there by Campbell. Campbell throwing strikes but Piper manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Campbell manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Campbell wants to get back to full guard. Piper looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piper uses his free foot to push down on Campbell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Campbell. Campbell is looking to get to half guard. Piper with good strikes from the mount here! Piper controlling the pace for now. Campbell is desperately trying to improve his position but Piper has a good base and remains in mount.

Campbell is doing well to defend. Piper seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Campbell is forced to tap and this one is over!
