The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Barrett.
Barrett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hass shoots in but Barrett avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hass takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
John Barrett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hass avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Barrett displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Jack Hass has been cut.
Nice uppercut lands for Barrett. That snapped Hass's head back.
Hass is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barrett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hass is still on wobbly legs! Can Barrett finish him?
Barrett tries to bum rush Hass with a series of wild strikes but Hass uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hass is defended easily by Barrett.
John Barrett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hass.
Barrett connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Hass out cold! This one is over in a flash!
