Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryfus Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Madison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes to the cage accompanied by Spaceboy. Madison comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jizz In My Pants kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryfus Kelly!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Madison!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly pivots, looking for a leg kick but Madison is out of range and Kelly settles back down.
Kelly ducks under a wild hook from Madison.
Kelly throws a leg kick that misses.
Kelly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Madison manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kelly throws a leg kick that misses.
Madison with a nice cross.
A cross from Madison lands.
Madison bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Madison paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Madison fails to land with a series of punches.
Madison works over Kelly's head and body with a nice combination.
Kelly misses the shot to the body.
Madison throws the left hand but Kelly avoids the punch easily.
Madison uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kelly.
Madison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kelly was well out of range. Poor timing from Madison.
Kelly is looking to clinch.

Kelly throws a head kick but Madison moves out of range.
Madison tests Kelly's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ryfus Kelly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kelly moves in looking to clinch but Madison pushes him off.
Kelly doesn't manage to clinch there - Madison circles away.
Madison loads up on a big right hand but Kelly slips the punch.
Kelly lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kelly tries to clinch up.
Madison swings for the body but Kelly moves out of range.
Ryfus Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A nice combination there by Kelly.
Kelly avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Madison connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kelly takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Madison tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Kelly lands with a kick to the temple. Madison shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Madison checks the leg kick.
Madison stalks Kelly and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kelly's face. Kelly staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kelly finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kelly gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Madison.
Kelly avoids the body shot from Madison.
Kelly throws out a leg kick but Madison moves out of range and Kelly only half commits.
Kelly misses with a shot to the body
and Madison counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Madison cracks Kelly with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kelly wants to clinch
and Madison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Madison defending well as Kelly loads up on a big left hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kelly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Madison has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Madison and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Madison throws an overhand right that lands on Kelly's shoulder, as Kelly tries to avoid the shot.
Madison is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kelly had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Madison circles away from the clinch attempt
and Madison counters with a straight right hand.
Kelly takes a swing at Madison's ribcage but misses.
Kelly misses with a low kick.
Kelly tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Madison counters with a right hand to the body.
Madison fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Madison throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kelly stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Madison fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kelly is out of range.
Madison connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kelly. Kelly circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A lazy left from Madison finds it's target.
Kelly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kelly misses with an uppercut.
Kelly swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Madison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Madison will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good exchange - Madison coming out on top.
Madison ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kelly moves away.
Kelly drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Madison jabs at Kelly's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Madison lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Madison works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kelly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Madison misses with a wild body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Madison dominated that round.

Madison catches Kelly with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kelly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A low kick from Kelly is predictable there
and Madison makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Madison checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Jack Madison seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Madison connects with a body shot that sends Kelly's belly button to the back.

Kelly fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Madison has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kelly is looking to clinch but Madison is avoiding it.
Kelly is looking to wear down Madison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Madison looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kelly avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Madison.
Madison is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Madison throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Kelly wants to improve his position but Madison is controlling well.
Kelly avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Madison.
Madison is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Madison wants to stand but Kelly has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Madison uses his free foot to push down on Kelly's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kelly.
Kelly is squirming around, avoiding Madison's attempts to control the action.
Madison has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kelly bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Kelly seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Madison wants to stand up but Kelly is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Madison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kelly moves to clinch but Madison breaks away
and Madison counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelly throws a hook to the side of Madison's head but Madison sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kelly throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kelly misses with a hook. Madison ducked under it nicely.

Kelly looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Kelly throws a front kick aimed at Madison's knee but Madison avoids it well.
Kelly lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Madison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Madison fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Madison swats away the attempt to clinch by Kelly.
Kelly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Madison looks to land a combination. Kelly sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kelly wants to slow Madison down by chopping away at his legs.
Donk. Madison catches Kelly right on the button with a cross.
Kelly shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Madison moves away.
Kelly darts in trying to clinch
and Madison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Kelly is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Madison scores a takedown into full mount!
Kelly taking shots to the head.
Oh Kelly is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Madison unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kelly wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Madison celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Madison! Jack Madison retains his featherweight title!
