Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beasty Kanne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Good comes into the arena with The Boxer blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good throws a head kick but Kanne moves out of range.
Kanne thows a body shot but no joy.
Kanne fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kanne is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Good.
Kanne looks to land a right hand but Good moved out of range.

Good throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kanne tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Good is in Kanne's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Good bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Good lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Beasty Kanne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kanne cracks Good with a right hand to the side of the head.

Kanne drops Good with a beautiful combination! Good stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kanne is looking for the KO!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Good perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Good wants to take a breather but Kanne is having none of it.
Kanne has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Good is working away from the top position though.
Kanne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Good. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
