Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Soprano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soprano's entrance music is Got Yourself a Gun . A fine choice. Turk has chosen Y'all must've forgot as his entrance music. Mario Turk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Soprano. Those never looked like landing.
Turk misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Soprano avoids the head kick by Turk.
Turk throws a hook but Soprano avoids it easily.

Turk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Soprano paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Soprano throws a lazy right hand but Turk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Soprano throws a low kick but Turk avoids it.
Mario Turk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turk tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Soprano counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Turk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Soprano throws a shot from downtown. Turk moves away and avoids it.
Soprano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Soprano looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Soprano moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Soprano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A big left from Turk misses.
Soprano buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Turk works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Turk wants to clinch.

Soprano ducks under a wild hook from Turk.
Turk is looking to clinch but Soprano is avoiding it.
Turk moves in looking to clinch but Soprano pushes him off.
Soprano uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Turk.
Soprano throws a head kick that misses
and Turk counters with an outside leg kick.
Turk throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Turk misses with a hook to the body
and Soprano counters with a slapping leg kick.
Soprano avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Turk wants to clinch up but Soprano keeps it at a distance.

Soprano takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Soprano thuds his right hand into Turk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nice straight punches there by Soprano. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Soprano.
Soprano scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Turk fails in his attempt to clinch.
Turk throws a nice looking combination but Soprano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Soprano connects with the punch.
Turk tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Soprano counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Soprano.
Turk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Soprano finds it's way round the side to connect with Turk's head.
Turk is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Soprano.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Turk is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Soprano scores with a hook to the body. Turk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Turk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Turk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turk looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Turk wants to clinch but Soprano slips to the side
and Soprano counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Turk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Soprano misses with an uppercut.

Soprano thuds his shin into the meat of Turk's side.
Soprano scores with a jab. Turk acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Turk is breathing heavily.
Soprano throws a quick inside leg kick.

Turk is rocked!

Soprano fakes the body blow, causing Turk to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Turk goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
