The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mitchell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mitchell somewhat.

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Mitchell drops Jones with a beautiful combination! Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mitchell is looking for the KO!

Mitchell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mitchell is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jon Jones's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jon Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
