Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between LieHarder Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Machete. Machete gets slowly back to his feet.
Machete throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evans's waist but Evans gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Machete off to one side.
Machete shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Evans as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for LieHarder Machete. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch but Machete swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Machete looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Evans fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machete, pushing him back against the cage.

Machete really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Machete is pushing down on Evans's leg trying to pass to half guard. Evans is fighting to maintain full guard but Machete has managed to sneak the leg through.

Evans might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Machete kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Evans pushes Machete off looking to stand but Machete dives back in and keeps control.
Machete is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Machete is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Evans is defending against the submission attempts here by Machete.
Evans is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Evans slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Machete is on top in guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Evans is looking to clinch but Machete is avoiding it.
Machete shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Machete shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evans pinned against the cage. Evans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Evans rushes Machete and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Machete swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Machete ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Machete no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Evans must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
