Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandr Mogilev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Crowley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowley has chosen You're Going Down as his entrance music. Aleksandr Mogilev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mogilev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crowley shoots in but Mogilev avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Crowley tries to close the distance and clinch but Mogilev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mogilev slaps away a takedown attempt from Crowley, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mogilev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mogilev closes the distance and clinches.

Crowley manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Mogilev is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mogilev has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Crowley clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

What can Crowley do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mogilev in particular looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Aleksandr Mogilev.

and Mogilev counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mogilev is breathing heavily.
Mogilev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Crowley punching from the bottom - just letting Mogilev know he's still in a fight.

Mogilev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crowley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mogilev has managed to get both his arms back between Crowley's legs - danger averted.
Mogilev wants to control from the top but Crowley keeps moving.
Crowley wants to sweep here but Mogilev controlling him for the moment.

Crowley doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Mogilev counters with a takedown into side control.

and Mogilev holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mogilev just leaning against Crowley, taking a breather.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Crowley gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Crowley won't allow Mogilev to get back to his feet.
Mogilev is trying to keep Crowley in close.

Crowley passes into half guard.
Ground and pound from Crowley.
Mogilev trying to control from the bottom.
Crowley trying to mount his opponent but Mogilev defends it.
Crowley is trying to control. Mogilev wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Mogilev has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crowley is working away from the top position though.
Aleksandr Mogilev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Crowley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mogilev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mogilev tries to get to full guard but Crowley has control of the leg.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Crowley throws a head kick that half lands.
Crowley misses with a takedown attempt - Mogilev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mogilev moves out of range of the body kick.
Crowley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mogilev's waist but Mogilev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crowley off to one side.

and Crowley counters with a series of strikes. Mogilev will be more careful next time no doubt.

Mogilev has managed to clinch.

Crowley jumps into guard, dragging Mogilev to the mat.

Mogilev looking to sit in guard and control but Crowley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mogilev is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Crowley dives into side control.

A close second round but Lorenzo Crowley will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Mogilev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mogilev is looking to take a break and control but Crowley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mogilev wants to stand but Crowley has his arm trapped.
Crowley struggling a bit here.
Crowley sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Crowley is pressing down on Mogilev's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Crowley doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Crowley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mogilev drops back, looking for a kneebar! Crowley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Crowley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Crowley!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Crowley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mogilev looks calm but he's in trouble here. Crowley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mogilev is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Crowley lets go of the hold and Mogilev can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lorenzo Crowley!
