Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogo Higashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Hammet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammet has chosen Till I collapse as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammet decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Higashi looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hammet is pressing down on Higashi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Higashi is holding on for now.
Hammet thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Higashi's head.
Hammet working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hammet is trying to control the action in half guard but Higashi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hammet is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Higashi tries to kick Hammet off but Hammet keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hammet wants to pass to mount but Higashi is defending the position.
Hammet is trying to control. Higashi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hammet looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Hammet passes to full mount!
Hammet looking to control but Higashi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Higashi tries to lock up and control but Hammet gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hammet pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hammet landing strikes from the mount and Higashi is in trouble!
Hammet postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Higashi bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hammet and the fight is over!
