Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crab Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilio Vasques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasques has chosen DMX - X Gon' Give It To Ya as his entrance music. Emilio Vasques has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasques tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Walker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vasques wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance.
Vasques tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vasques tries to clinch but Walker is having none of it.
Vasques doesn't manage to clinch there - Walker circles away.
Vasques is looking to clinch but Walker is avoiding it.
Walker slaps away a takedown attempt from Vasques, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vasques is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vasques tries to clinch up but Walker circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vasques ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walker moves away.

Walker shoots in and bounces Vasques off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Vasques controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.

Walker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Vasques is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Walker passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Walker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vasques stops Walker from passing to mount.
Vasques is not content to let Walker control the position.
Walker has knee on belly momentarily but Vasques bucks him off and regains half guard.
Vasques is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Walker is working for a kimura but Vasques is defending it quite comfortably.
Walker is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Walker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vasques is looking to escape.
Walker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Vasques is looking to get to half guard.
Vasques tries to hold on but Walker postures up.
Vasques really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vasques looks gassed!

Walker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Vasques manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Walker connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Vasques some visible discomfort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crab Walker dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Walker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vasques tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vasques throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vasques tries to clinch there but Walker circles away.
Vasques misses with a takedown attempt

and Walker counters with a shoot takedown. Vasques fights it but they end up in guard.
Walker wants to control from the top but Vasques keeps moving.
Vasques can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walker controls the pace.
Walker with a flurry of punches that miss.
Walker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Vasques is breathing heavily.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Vasques keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully.

Vasques can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walker controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Crab Walker.
Vasques doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Walker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Walker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Walker has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Vasques!

Walker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Walker is working for a rear naked choke. Vasques is not defending it well and Walker has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Vasques refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Vasques's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
