Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valerii Balanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starr closes the distance and clinches.
Starr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Balanko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Starr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Starr manages to get to full guard.
Balanko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Starr being controlled here, momentarily.
Starr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Balanko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Balanko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Balanko wants to stand but Starr has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Balanko throws a strike but Starr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Balanko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Starr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Starr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Balanko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Starr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Starr doesn't manage to clinch there - Balanko circles away.
Starr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Balanko's head.
Starr drives through and clinches with Balanko against the cage.
Balanko looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Starr pulls guard effortlessly.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Starr seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Balanko is positioning himself well to prevent Starr advancing to mount.

Well Starr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
