Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tetsu Bodashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawakami Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tetsu Bodashi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kawakami Takeda! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bodashi avoids a kick to the body.
Bodashi instigates a clinch. Takeda takes a knee to the side of the body. Takeda fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Takeda pushes Bodashi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Bodashi missing with knees to the body.
Bodashi lands a body shot. Takeda misses with some punches.
Takeda breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Takeda. Bodashi shrugs it off though. Kawakami Takeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takeda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bodashi throws a leg kick which misses Takeda's front leg but catches the back leg as Takeda tries to avoid it. Takeda lands a jab to the head.
Bodashi slips under a jab from Takeda. Bodashi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Takeda, pushing him back against the cage. Takeda avoiding damage as Bodashi throws knees to the body.

Takeda blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Takeda misses with a hook from the clinch. Takeda is looking to break free of the clinch but Bodashi has double underhooks. Bodashi tries a body shot but Takeda blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bodashi keeps control of Takeda as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bodashi keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Takeda's efforts to push away. Bodashi working Takeda over with knees to the body. Bodashi has Takeda pressed against the cage.
Takeda scores with an uppercut up the middle. Bodashi lands on the inside with an uppercut. Bodashi keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Takeda's efforts to push away. Takeda is trying to force a seperation but Bodashi has the dominant position. Bodashi has Takeda pressed against the cage, preventing Takeda from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Takeda doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Takeda avoids a wild elbow strike from Bodashi. Bodashi lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Bodashi trying to land knees to the body.
Takeda tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Takeda scores with an uppercut up the middle. Bodashi lands an elbow that stopped Takeda in his tracks for a moment. Bodashi tries a knee to the head but Takeda blocks it.

Takeda misses with a short punch on the inside. Takeda's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Takeda on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bodashi landing knees to the body.
Takeda swings wildly with an uppercut but Bodashi uses good head movement to avoid it. Bodashi blocks a body shot from Takeda. Takeda lands a hook to the side of the head. Takeda wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bodashi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Takeda avoids it. A head punch blocked on the inside by Bodashi. Bodashi lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Takeda or not. Bodashi gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Bodashi pushes off an throws an elbow but Takeda leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Takeda on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Takeda. Bodashi with an attempt at a knee that misses.
The referee is keeping an eye on Bodashi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Takeda tries to break free but Bodashi pushes him back against the cage. Takeda wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bodashi has him pressed against the cage. Bodashi creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Takeda's defenses. Bodashi connects with a knee to the head.
Bodashi content to slow the pace in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tetsu Bodashi dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bodashi is looking to clinch. Takeda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice body kick there by Takeda. Takeda plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Takeda thows a left - swing and a miss! Takeda lands a high kick!
Takeda shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Takeda scores with a leg kick.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Takeda.
Takeda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A jab from Takeda finds it's way through Bodashi's defenses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Takeda throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Takeda scores with the left hand. Bodashi knows he should have avoided that one. Takeda feints and then cracks Bodashi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bodashi down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bodashi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Takeda thuds his shin into the meat of Bodashi's side. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bodashi checks a leg kick. Takeda throws a head kick but Bodashi moves out of range.
Takeda lands a front kick. Takeda throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bodashi's head. A nice inside leg kick there by Takeda. That's going to slow Bodashi down. Takeda delivers a nice body kick. Takeda buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Takeda throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Bodashi moves out of range of the body kick. Takeda throws a nice outside leg kick. Takeda moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bodashi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Takeda - the referee stops the clock and Bodashi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Takeda. Bodashi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bodashi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Takeda connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Bodashi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Takeda. Takeda looks to land a body kick but Bodashi moved away. Bodashi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Takeda can pounce on him.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Takeda. Takeda bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Good leg kick by Takeda there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Takeda throws a head kick but Bodashi moves out of range.
Takeda throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Takeda with a nice cross. Takeda misses with a head kick.
Nice body kick there by Takeda. Takeda fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bodashi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tetsu Bodashi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeda lands a head kick!
Takeda throws a leg kick which misses Bodashi's front leg but catches the back leg as Bodashi tries to avoid it. Takeda lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bodashi takes a step back to recover. Bodashi will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Takeda misses with a head kick.
Bodashi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Takeda throws a good cross that connects.
Takeda throws a nice outside leg kick. Bodashi on the wrong end of a nice hook. An inside leg kick lands from Takeda. Bodashi has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. A nice leg kick lands there from Takeda. Takeda thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bodashi if he has to take too many more of those.
Bodashi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Takeda.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bodashi throws a leg kick and Takeda counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bodashi's knee momentarily. Takeda lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bodashi avoids a kick to the body.
Bodashi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Takeda. That one must have hurt. Takeda connects with a single shot there. Takeda connects with a right hand. Bodashi shakes it off. Bodashi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bodashi is rocked! Takeda scores with a kick to the midsection. Oh Bodashi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Whack! Takeda lands a heavy head kick that drops Bodashi. The ref tackles Takeda to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Bodashi was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Kawakami Takeda!
