The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Salcedo counters with a single leg into guard. Hansson didn't expect that.
Salcedo is in close to Hansson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hansson is looking to stand up but Salcedo isn't so interested in that idea.
Salcedo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hansson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Salcedo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Salcedo passes Hansson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Salcedo is looking for a kimura but Hansson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Salcedo to get the leverage.
Salcedo is looking to advance position but Hansson won't allow it.
Hansson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Salcedo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hansson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Salcedo.
Salcedo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Salcedo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hansson is just riding it out for now. Salcedo eventually gives up the hold.
Salcedo seems to be looking for submissions.

Salcedo maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hansson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Salcedo has cracked it and Hansson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Salcedo!
