Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ming T Chau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chau comes to the cage accompanied by PRIDE FC opening theme music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chau throws a hook but Morrison blocks it.
Morrison dives in and grabs Chau's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chau pushes down on Morrison's head and hops out.
Morrison looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ming T Chau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chau swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Morrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chau gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Morrison had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chau defends it easily.

Morrison has his foot on Chau's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chau works his way back into a safe position though.

Chau is nestled in close to Morrison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Chau decides to stand up.

Morrison looks to land a combination. Chau sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Morrison misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chau lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Morrison has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Morrison and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Morrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morrison wants it to stay on the feet.
Morrison moves forwards but Chau connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Chau throws a lazy right hand but Morrison sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Chau tries to clinch up but Morrison circles away and keeps his distance.

and Chau counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chau shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morrison napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Morrison is pushing Chau's head away, looking to escape. Chau manages to hold on to the position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Chau has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Morrison is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Chau has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Morrison regains guard immediately.

Morrison is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chau rolls with it to try and escape but Morrison cranks on the arm and Chau is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
