Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graham Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Graham Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Ryan! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ryan trying to pass the guard but Marsh defending well. Marsh is looking to improve his position.
Marsh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ryan. Ryan is nestled in close to Marsh, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Marsh has his hands clasped together around Ryan's back. He's all about the action. Marsh trying to hold on to Ryan's head to control him but Ryan postures up.
Marsh actively working from the bottom here. Ryan wants to pass the guard but Marsh is defending well.

Marsh is controlling Ryan's position as best he can from this difficult position. Marsh looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ryan prevents Marsh from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ryan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ryan moves into full mount! Marsh won't be happy about that! Marsh wants to hold on but Ryan pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marsh can't escape the position.
Marsh tries to hold on but Ryan postures up. Marsh is bucking up trying to escape but Ryan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Marsh tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ryan looking to control and managing it successfully. Ryan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Marsh has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ryan cracks Marsh with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryan is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Ryan gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ryan breaks the clinch.
Ryan doesn't manage to clinch there - Marsh circles away.
Ryan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ryan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ryan wants to take a breather but Marsh is having none of it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Marsh trying to hold on to Ryan's head to control him but Ryan postures up.
Ryan wants to control but Marsh is keeping him busy. Ryan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Ryan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Marsh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Marsh dives in and grabs Ryan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ryan pushes down on Marsh's head and hops out. Ryan gets caught flat footed, as Marsh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ryan looking to control but Marsh passes into half guard.
Marsh is keen to just control but Ryan is a slippery customer. Marsh wants to pass the guard but Ryan is defending well. Marsh is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Marsh prevents Ryan from standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ryan can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marsh is working away from the top position though. Marsh is trying to control the action in half guard but Ryan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Graham Marsh. Marsh displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ryan. Marsh blocks a jab. Ryan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ryan swats away the attempt to clinch by Marsh. Ryan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. The fight stays on the outside here - Ryan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ryan walks away with a smile on his face. Marsh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ryan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ryan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Marsh has Ryan up against the cage in a clinch.
Ryan jumps guard and drags Marsh to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Marsh trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Marsh has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ryan is proving hard to escape from. Marsh trying to control but Ryan is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh throwing strikes but missing. Marsh trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ryan trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Graham Marsh has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ryan circles away from the clinch attempt and Ryan counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ryan not doing much here.
Marsh wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Marsh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ryan is trying to work for a kimura but Marsh is defending well.

Ryan has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Marsh tries to lock up and control but Ryan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Matt Ryan will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Ryan takes the fight into the clinch. Marsh is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ryan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ryan takes a knee to the side of the body. Marsh wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ryan blocks an elbow strike. Ryan working some nice short punches in the clinch. Marsh tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ryan just stands there and leans against the cage. Marsh has Ryan pressed against the cage, preventing Ryan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Marsh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ryan is stalling here.
Marsh ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Marsh no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Marsh wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Marsh wants to stand up but Ryan is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ryan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ryan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marsh's guard. Marsh is trying to maintain the position but Ryan is very close to passing his half guard. Ryan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Marsh wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh is positioning himself well to prevent Ryan advancing to mount. Ryan trying to control the action but Marsh is working from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Matt Ryan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ryan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ryan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Marsh has managed to free his arm - good work. Ryan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Marsh!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Marsh to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Marsh shrugs it off. Ryan controlling from the full mount. Marsh gets back to half guard. Marsh wants to get back to his feet.
Ryan drops an elbow to the side of Marsh's head. Marsh wants to control but Ryan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Marsh controlling the position for now.

Ryan is trying to control. Marsh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ryan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Marsh. Ryan misses with a straight right. Graham Marsh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Marsh with a poor takedown and Ryan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Marsh's guard. Graham Marsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Matt Ryan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Marsh is looking to stand up but Ryan isn't so interested in that idea.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Ryan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ryan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
