The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda blocks a jab.
Weezy connects with a nice looking jab.
Weezy throws a big shot that misses.
Honda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Weezy sprawls well. Weezy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Honda gets slowly back to his feet.
Honda looks to score with a jab to the body but Weezy is just out of range.
Weezy lands with a straight right. Honda didn't see that one coming.
Weezy lands with a cross.
Weezy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Honda stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Weezy lands a right hook to the body.
Honda shoots in but Weezy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Weezy scores with a nice head shot.
Weezy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Honda looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Weezy dodges the punch combination from Honda.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Honda.
Jay Weezy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Honda.

Weezy throws a combination. Honda tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Weezy connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Honda! He's out on his feet! Weezy rushes in and drops Honda with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
