Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas MacArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sean Johnson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sean Johnson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but MacArthur circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.

MacArthur must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Johnson is trying to keep MacArthur in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! MacArthur is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and MacArthur manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into MacArthur's guard.
MacArthur is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
MacArthur is looking for a triangle but Johnson pushes his legs off easily.
Johnson is looking to stand up but MacArthur won't let him.
MacArthur has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
MacArthur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MacArthur off to one side.
Sean Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas MacArthur.
