Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lars Vegar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Dalton! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Vegar as Dalton shoots in. Dalton shoots in and drives through. Vegar sprawls well. Vegar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dalton's waist but Dalton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vegar off to one side. Dalton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Vegar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Vegar missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Vegar keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Dalton trying to control here.
Dalton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Vegar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Vegar's back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. I really don't envy Vegar right now.
Vegar just trying to survive but Dalton is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Vegar tries to roll but Dalton sticks to his back.
Vegar tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
That's one minute gone in the round. Vegar slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Vegar keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Vegar tries to get to full guard but Dalton has control of the leg. Vegar is working hard here to advance position. Vegar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dalton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dalton's back! Vegar is working the ground and pound. Can Dalton escape?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalton covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Vegar throwing sloppy strikes. Dalton trying to control the action but Vegar just sinks the hooks in. Vegar keeps control of the position easily here as Dalton tries to buck him off.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Vegar slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Vegar has got one arm under Dalton's chin. This could be trouble... Dalton trying to control the other hand but Vegar gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Dalton has tapped out! The fight is over!
