The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junk throws a series of strikes that have Jelen backpedaling.
Junk stalks Jelen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jelen's face. Jelen staggers backwards, shaken.
Junk throws a right and a left that both miss.
Junk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jelen avoids it really well and circles away.
Jelen fails with an attempt to clinch.
John Junk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Junk drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jelen is on top in guard.

Junk decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Junk tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jelen controls his leg.

Junk decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Jelen tries to keep at a distance but Junk has taken the fight into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jelen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Junk closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jelen to the mat! Jelen manages to get full guard.
Junk is looking to stand up but Jelen won't let him.
Jelen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Junk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jelen. Jelen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Junk has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Junk shoots in looking for a takedown. Jelen tries to sprawl out of it but Junk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jelen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gustaw Jelen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Junk.

Jelen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Junk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jelen somewhat.

Junk sizes up Jelen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jelen enables Junk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jelen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Junk wants to stand and escape but instead Jelen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Junk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

John Junk is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jelen is fighting to break Junk's control of his arms but Junk is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

John Junk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Junk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
