Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Riggins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marty Ehrhorn! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ehrhorn connects with a single shot there. Riggins gets the takedown into side control. Ehrhorn is trying to improve his position. Riggins is staying tight to Ehrhorn's torso, preventing him from escaping. Riggins swings around for an armbar but Ehrhorn sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Riggins's guard. Riggins throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riggins looking for a sweep. Not yet Riggins, not yet. Riggins could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Riggins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Riggins trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Ehrhorn doesn't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Riggins has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. I really don't envy Ehrhorn right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riggins looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Ehrhorn is controlling Riggins 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Riggins looking to control.
Ehrhorn stops Riggins from standing up. Riggins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Riggins tries to get out of the position. Riggins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ehrhorn manages to get himself to full guard.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ehrhorn for as long as he can get away with. Ehrhorn is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Ehrhorn is trying to maintain the position but Riggins is very close to passing his half guard. Riggins is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Riggins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Andy Riggins has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ehrhorn looks for the body kick but Riggins saw that one coming. Riggins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ehrhorn pinned against the cage. Ehrhorn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Riggins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ehrhorn moves away. Andy Riggins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ehrhorn throws a right hand that Riggins ducks under and follows up with a left that Riggins also avoids with ease. Riggins is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ehrhorn. Ehrhorn is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ehrhorn circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ehrhorn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Riggins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Riggins thows a body shot but no joy. Ehrhorn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Riggins shoots in for a takedown but Ehrhorn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Riggins tries to clinch but Ehrhorn moves out of range. Ehrhorn tries to close the distance and clinch but Riggins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Riggins swats away the attempt to clinch by Ehrhorn. Ehrhorn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riggins. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Riggins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Riggins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ehrhorn lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ehrhorn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ehrhorn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Riggins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ehrhorn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Riggins is looking to take a break and control but Ehrhorn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Riggins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We're going to have a standup here because Andy Riggins wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ehrhorn fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Riggins pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Marty Ehrhorn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Riggins is defended easily by Ehrhorn. Riggins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ehrhorn but Ehrhorn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ehrhorn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Riggins tries to free his leg and advance position but Ehrhorn is retaining full guard. Riggins wants to stand but Ehrhorn is controlling his posture from full guard. Riggins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Riggins. Ehrhorn lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Riggins backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ehrhorn with a lazy takedown attempt and Riggins counters with a nice double leg into guard. Riggins wants to control from the top but Ehrhorn keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riggins missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ehrhorn tries to land a sweep but no joy. Riggins passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ehrhorn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Riggins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ehrhorn has escaped the position, nice work there. Riggins decides to stand back up. Riggins steps back and let's Ehrhorn get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ehrhorn throws a one two combo.
Ehrhorn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Riggins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Riggins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ehrhorn swivels and escapes. Ehrhorn tries to clinch up but Riggins circles away and keeps his distance. Ehrhorn throws a nice looking combination but Riggins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Riggins tries to clinch up but Ehrhorn circles away and keeps his distance. Riggins has a takedown stuffed. Riggins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ehrhorn is trying to control the position but Riggins postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Riggins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ehrhorn is keeping the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Andy Riggins. I think Riggins has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
