Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sebastiaan Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoost comes to the cage accompanied by Redemption Song. Perry has chosen Mannish Boy Live with Muddy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sebastiaan Hoost! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Perry! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry stuffs the takedown. Hoost throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hoost avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hoost shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Perry defends it nicely. Hoost throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Hoost throws a push kick but Perry slaps the foot to one side. Perry closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Perry throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hoost tries to break free but Perry pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perry lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Sebastiaan Hoost has been cut. Perry stops a takedown attempt from Hoost.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastiaan Hoost. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perry lands a hook that snaps the head of Hoost backwards. Hoost managing to block the knees to the body from Perry.

Perry tries to clinch but Hoost moves out of range. Hoost is looking to slow Perry down with leg kicks. Sebastiaan Hoost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Hoost. Perry takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hoost shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Perry throws a shot from downtown. Hoost moves away and avoids it. Hoost shoots in for a double leg but Perry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hoost throws a leg kick but Perry moved away. Perry misses with a kick to the body.
Hoost throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. An inside leg kick lands from Hoost. Hoost throws a head kick that misses. Lee Perry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Perry misses with the combination.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hoost.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Hoost. Hoost tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Perry swivels and escapes. Hoost misses with a head kick.
Perry misses with an uppercut. Hoost saw that one coming. Hoost fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hoost looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Perry! Perry is trying to stand up. Hoost misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Perry is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoost controlling from mount. Hoost has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Hoost looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hoost sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Perry is trying to stand up. Hoost tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hoost working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hoost working for a guillotine from mount but Perry is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sebastiaan Hoost dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sebastiaan Hoost's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hoost was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hoost tries a low kick but Perry avoids it. Hoost lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Hoost finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hoost throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Perry misses with a hook. Hoost ducked under it nicely. Perry wants to clinch. Perry slaps away a takedown attempt from Hoost, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastiaan Hoost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Perry swings for the body but Hoost moves out of range.
Perry misses with a double jab.
Hoost swats away the attempt to clinch by Perry. Hoost lands a leg kick that knocks Perry off balance momentarily. Perry throws a hook but Hoost blocks it. Hoost looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perry is fending him off so far but Hoost persists. Nope, Perry circles away and we're back to standing. Perry misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A clash of legs there as Perry blocks the low kick. Hoost throws a head kick that half lands.
Perry's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Perry moves into range and clinches up with Hoost. Perry throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hoost has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Perry avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Perry missing with knees to the body.
Hoost's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hoost avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Perry lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Hoost is looking to land body kicks. A punch combination from Perry misses. Perry tries to clinch there but Hoost circles away.
Hoost fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Perry. Hoost pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perry throws a push kick but Hoost slaps the foot to one side. Hoost shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hoost showed some decent athleticism there. Perry keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Perry wants to get back to his feet. Hoost controlling the action here. Hoost prevents Perry from standing back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Perry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hoost seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Perry is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
