Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn comes into the arena with Break Stuff blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kris Burns! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Quinn.
Quinn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Peter Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping leg kick lands for Quinn.
Quinn throws a nice outside leg kick. Burns tries to close the distance and clinch but Quinn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Burns looks gassed! Quinn pushes Burns away with a front kick. Burns gets caught flat footed, as Quinn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Quinn trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quinn gets to his feet - Burns follows without any prompting. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Quinn.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Burns on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Good leg kick by Quinn there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Quinn connects with a high kick. Quinn connects with an inside leg kick. Burns takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A good leg kick by Quinn. Quinn throws a leg kick which misses Burns's front leg but catches the back leg as Burns tries to avoid it. Quinn throws a leg kick which misses Burns's front leg but catches the back leg as Burns tries to avoid it. Quinn lands a leg kick that knocks Burns off balance momentarily. Quinn buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Quinn scores with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Quinn scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Burns tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Quinn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Burns on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Quinn buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Quinn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Burns takes a shot right to the bread basket. Quinn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Quinn. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Quinn - that will leave a mark!
Quinn closes the distance and clinches. Burns should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Quinn breaks the clinch.
Quinn lands with a slapping head kick. Quinn throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A nice combination there by Quinn.
A nice inside leg kick there by Quinn. That's going to slow Burns down. Quinn throws a leg kick which misses Burns's front leg but catches the back leg as Burns tries to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quinn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Burns tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Quinn is in Burns's guard. Quinn trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. Quinn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burns is keeping the position for now. Quinn works over Burns with some ground and pound from guard. Quinn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Burns swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy. Burns is looking for a triangle but Quinn pushes his legs off easily.
Quinn trying to stand up but can't free himself from Burns's guard. Burns is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Burns has control of Quinn's left arm, preventing Quinn from doing any damage. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Burns shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Burns on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Burns doesn't succeed with the takedown and Quinn counters with a slapping leg kick. Burns throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quinn's waist but Quinn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burns off to one side. Peter Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris Burns. Burns fails in his attempt to clinch. Burns on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Burns misses with a low kick. Burns drives through and clinches with Quinn against the cage.
Quinn is trying to break the clinch but Burns is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns jumps guard and drags Quinn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Quinn throwing strikes from guard but Burns blocks nicely. Burns is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Quinn frees his head nicely. Oh but Burns has switched to an armbar! Quinn is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
