Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Douillet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett comes to the cage accompanied by Whoomp There it is. Sackett is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. David Douillet has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Orlando Sackett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Douillet! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sackett fails with the takedown. Sackett looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Douillet looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Douillet performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Sackett wants to sweep but Douillet has passed to side control! Douillet controlling from side mount. Sackett tries to improve position but can't. Douillet is putting a hurting on Sackett here, landing some big shots from side control. Douillet scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sackett to see if he's OK.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Douillet moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Douillet working the head and body with strikes.

Douillet is working Sackett over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Douillet controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Douillet with a nice head shot there. Douillet working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Sackett wants to sweep here but Douillet controlling him for the moment. Douillet working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sackett being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Douillet wasn't active enough on the ground. Douillet closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sackett to the mat! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Douillet with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Douillet has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sackett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Sackett working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Douillet doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Douillet manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. That's four minutes gone in the round. Sackett controls Douillet momentarily but Douillet frees himself. Douillet stands up from guard. Let's bang! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Douillet shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sackett manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sackett working for a triangle but Douillet defends it easily.

David Douillet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Douillet looking to pass the guard. Douillet chips away with some ground and pound. Sackett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Douillet with a nice head shot there. Douillet working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Douillet stays in close to Sackett's body and controls the position. Douillet stands up over Sackett, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Orlando Sackett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

He has the arm isolated but Sackett is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Douillet in side control lands a decent elbow. And that's the end of the fight! David Douillet comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Douillet has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
