The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dawson circles away quickly and effectively.
Dawson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Bailey postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dawson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bailey, into his guard.

Dawson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bailey with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dawson is landing with some decent strikes but Bailey is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Dawson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bailey's face.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dawson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
