Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Max Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blanket Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Bad as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Powers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blanket Jackson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Powers has a takedown stuffed. Powers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Powers throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Powers shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Powers throws a chopping leg kick but Jackson manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Powers misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Powers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Powers walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jackson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powers throws a head kick that misses. Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Powers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground. Jackson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Powers can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jackson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Powers is forced to tap! Great finish!
