Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caloy Iblasin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caloy Iblasin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Smith!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Iblasin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Iblasin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smith sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Iblasin somewhat.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iblasin tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Smith checks a leg kick.
Iblasin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Iblasin misses with a low kick.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Smith throws a low kick, looking for Iblasin's leg but Iblasin calmly moves out of range.
Iblasin doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Smith counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Iblasin keeping full guard, as Smith tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith stands and throws Iblasin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Iblasin is not content to let Smith control the position.
Smith connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Iblasin some visible discomfort.
Iblasin stops Smith from passing to mount.
Smith tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Iblasin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Smith slows the pace down.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Smith laying and praying for a moment but Iblasin takes advantage and regains half guard.
Iblasin is trying to get back to full guard.
Iblasin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Smith misses with a head shot. Iblasin uses the momentum to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Smith throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Iblasin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iblasin ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Smith thows a leg kick but Iblasin checks it
and Iblasin counters with a nice leg kick.
Iblasin fails with the takedown
and Smith counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Smith is stalling here. Iblasin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Smith seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Iblasin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Smith is trying to buck Iblasin off.
Iblasin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Smith has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Iblasin but great work by Smith.
Smith prevents Iblasin from escaping the position.
Smith swings around for an armbar but Iblasin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Smith's guard.
Iblasin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Smith is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Smith has escaped and now he's on top!

Smith throws a strike but Iblasin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Smith pulls Iblasin in to control the position.
Smith wants to stand up but Iblasin is controlling him.
Iblasin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Smith dives on top into guard.

Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Smith throws a big right hand that misses.
Smith wants to control from the top but Iblasin keeps moving.
Iblasin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Smith throws a sloppy strike and Iblasin has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Smith is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Iblasin!
