The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CPW takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Szczevnikov fails with a takedown attempt.
Szczevnikov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. CPW defends it nicely.
CPW throws a series of punches but Szczevnikov avoids them all with ease.
Szczevnikov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Szczevnikov is trying hard to land a takedown here. CPW sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

CPW dances in with a quick combination. Szczevnikov is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from CPW snaps Szczevnikov's head back. Szczevnikov stumbles backwards against the cage. CPW steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Szczevnikov's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Szczevnikov just didn't come prepared.
