Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Methot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Methot is nestled in close to Bott, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Methot cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bott is bucking up trying to escape but Methot cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
BOOM! Methot connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Methot has control of Bott's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bott regains control of the situation pretty easily.
