Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rod Quantock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Sinistra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rod Quantock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rod Quantock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brandon Sinistra!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinistra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sinistra throws a hook but Quantock blocks it.
Sinistra jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Quantock moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sinistra throws a right and a left that Quantock avoids nicely.

Quantock shoots for a double leg takedown but Sinistra sprawls well. He's pushed Quantock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sinistra stalks Quantock and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Quantock's face. Quantock staggers backwards, shaken.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Quantock looks up at the clock and then as Sinistra takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Quantock smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Quantock is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sinistra will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Quantock is landing with some decent strikes but Sinistra is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
