Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yanick Goossens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes has chosen Curtis Mayfield 'Pusherman' as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Leroy Barnes enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yanick Goossens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leroy Barnes! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Goossens walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Barnes dodges the punch combination from Goossens.
Barnes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barnes lands in his opponent's guard. Barnes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Barnes prevents Goossens from getting back to his feet. Barnes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Barnes won't allow Goossens to sweep him here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Barnes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Goossens wants to stand and escape but Barnes is having none of it. Barnes lands a couple of digs. Goossens wants to get back to his feet but Barnes is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Barnes lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goossens is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes sitting in guard, not really doing much. Barnes won't allow Goossens to get back to his feet. Goossens can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barnes controls the pace. Barnes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Barnes won't allow Goossens to get back to his feet. Goossens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barnes on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Leroy Barnes was stalling too much, according to the referee. Barnes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Barnes has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Goossens defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Barnes.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Barnes jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Goossens manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goossens is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Barnes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Goossens knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Barnes is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Goossens's shoulder. That is not cool. Barnes has hold of Goossens's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Goossens seems comfortable defending it but Barnes has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Goossens is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Goossens is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Barnes couldn't care less - he's delighted!
