Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darcy Hornchuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hih Hulihei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hornchuck might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Uplift- Pantera. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darcy Hornchuck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulihei shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hornchuck defends it nicely.
Hornchuck gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Hulihei has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hornchuck is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hulihei wants the takedown. Hornchuck is fighting it off but Hulihei persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hornchuck's guard against the cage.
Hulihei postures up.
Hulihei wants to control from the top but Hornchuck keeps moving.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hornchuck throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Hulihei trying to control but Hornchuck is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hornchuck lands with a shot to the body.
Hulihei on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hornchuck cracks Hulihei with a good jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hornchuck clobbers Hulihei with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hulihei shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hornchuck as he jumps to the side.
Darcy Hornchuck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hih Hulihei.
Hornchuck lands a hook that stumbles Hulihei back into the cage. Hornchuck follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Hulihei to the canvas! Hornchuck pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Hulihei has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Darcy Hornchuck!
