Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zbychu Mcabra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Durandin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Durandin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zbychu Mcabra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Durandin! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durandin shoots in and bounces Mcabra off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mcabra looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Mcabra can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Durandin controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durandin tries to free his leg and advance position but Mcabra is retaining full guard. Mcabra wants to stand and escape but Durandin is having none of it. Durandin wants to pass the guard but Mcabra is keeping the position. Durandin trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcabra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Durandin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcabra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alex Durandin was stalling too much, according to the referee. Mcabra fails with the takedown and Durandin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mcabra! Durandin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durandin landing punches. Durandin controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Durandin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Mcabra really wants to buck Durandin off and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Durandin content just to control the position here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alex Durandin was stalling too much, according to the referee. Durandin clinches up against the cage. Durandin tightens his grip and picks Mcabra up, before dumping him to the ground. Mcabra manages to land in guard. Durandin is stalling in the full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Durandin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Durandin dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Durandin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcabra's guard. Durandin content to stall in guard here. Durandin stands and throws Mcabra's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Durandin trying to control the action but Mcabra is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durandin controls the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mcabra on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Durandin controlling the position. Mcabra is looking to get back to his feet here but Durandin is keeping cool and he's managed to take Mcabra's back. Durandin has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Mcabra's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durandin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mcabra is trying to get back to his feet but Durandin has full control of the position and if anything, Mcabra has just worked his way into a worse spot. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alex Durandin wasn't active enough on the ground. Durandin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Durandin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcabra wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Mcabra is fighting off a takedown attempt but Durandin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Mcabra to the mat. Mcabra regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Durandin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mcabra wants to stand but Durandin is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durandin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alex Durandin was stalling too much, according to the referee. Durandin instigates a clinch. Durandin gets a trip takedown into half guard. Mcabra has hold of Durandin's hands but Durandin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcabra is trying to stand back up but Durandin is controlling him

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alex Durandin was stalling too much, according to the referee. Durandin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcabra did well to prevent Durandin getting side control. Durandin trying to mount his opponent but Mcabra defends it. Durandin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Alex Durandin has got the better of the ground game so far. Mcabra is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Durandin scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Durandin content to control rather than advance. Durandin is working for a kimura but Mcabra is defending it quite comfortably.

And that's the end of the fight! Alex Durandin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Durandin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
