4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Uster Best! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sybert keeps the fight on the outside. Best shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sybert pinned against the cage. Sybert gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sybert showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Best.

Ray Sybert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sybert defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Best. Sybert pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nice sprawl there from Sybert as Best shoots in. Sybert clinches up against the cage. Sybert with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Sybert connects with a nasty looking knee right to Best's face.
Best has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sybert avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Sybert stops a takedown attempt from Best.

Sybert decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Best, up you get! Best fails to land the takedown. Sybert instigates a clinch. Best tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sybert smiles and moves away.
Best throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sybert. Sybert clinches up with Best and pushes him back against the cage. Sybert landing knees to the head.

Best ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Best no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Sybert avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sybert slips nicely into half guard. Best gets back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Best looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sybert is defending well. Best quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sybert has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Best celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
