Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Boothe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Strange Disease kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Boothe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Arthur Jackson! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson checks a low kick from Boothe. Boothe thumps Jackson with a low kick. Jackson misses with a wild combination.
A combination from Jackson does no damage. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boothe sprawls well. Boothe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Boothe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boothe but Boothe pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Boothe circles away.
Jackson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Boothe. Thomas Boothe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Jackson. Boothe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Boothe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Boothe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jackson. Thomas Boothe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Boothe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Boothe misses with a straight right. Boothe misses with a wild body shot. Boothe cracks Jackson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jackson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Boothe pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jackson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Boothe!
