Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Holle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Penthouse. Holle has chosen Ektomorf - Show your fist as his entrance music. Richard Holle struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Holle.
Man lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Ice Man wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Holle stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Holle might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Man bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Man feints and then cracks Holle's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holle down.

Holle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Man tests Holle's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Holle walks into a stiff left hand from Man.
Man closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Holle did well to prevent Man getting side control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Holle takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Holle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Man to score an easy takedown into full guard.
