The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Brian Baumgardner has been cut.
Spackman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Spackman throws a right hand that Baumgardner ducks under and follows up with a left that Baumgardner also avoids with ease.
Baumgardner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Baumgardner drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Spackman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Baumgardner asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Baumgardner works to advance to full mount. Spackman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Baumgardner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Baumgardner takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Spackman is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Baumgardner is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Baumgardner has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Spackman is defending well but eventually Baumgardner manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Spackman has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
