Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Bambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted mandingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mandingo throws a nice looking combination but Bambino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That kick from mandingo tenderised Bambino's leg. Bambino is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bambino drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bambino stays in close to mandingo's body and controls the position.
Bambino passes into half guard.
Bambino is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bambino is taking a breather. mandingo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bambino postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

mandingo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bambino is controlling him.
mandingo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bambino thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bambino might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bambino slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bambino gets to his feet - mandingo follows without any prompting.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bambino closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
mandingo tries to kick Bambino off but Bambino keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bambino frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bambino breaks from mandingo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Bambino unloads with some shots from mount but mandingo bucks and avoids them well.

Bambino tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bambino throws a looping overhand right but mandingo ducks down to avoid it.
mandingo looks to land a combination but Bambino avoids it well.

Bambino shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches mandingo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

mandingo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bambino is defended easily by mandingo.
mandingo misses with a series of wild punches.
Bambino shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Bambino is throwing strikes by mandingo counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, mandingo regains half guard.
Bambino is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! mandingo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
