Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Langford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frodo Baggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Langford comes to the ring accompanied by The Fight Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langford instigates a clinch. Baggs blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Baggs has Langford pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Langford manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Baggs tries a body shot but Langford blocks it.
Langford gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Baggs.
Baggs is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Langford pulls him back up using the underhooks. Evan Langford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frodo Baggs. Langford has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Baggs uses from the top position. Langford is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Baggs drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Baggs jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Baggs stopping the sweep attempt from Langford. Langford keeping moving, preventing Baggs from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baggs pushing down on Langford's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Langford pushes Baggs off looking to stand but Baggs dives back in and keeps control.
Baggs is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Langford gets full guard. Baggs has gone for a leg lock! Langford slips out almost immediately though and dives into Baggs's guard. Langford trying to control but Baggs is working from the bottom. Baggs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Langford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baggs looking for a triangle here. Langford is fighting it but it looks tight! Baggs pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Langford is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Frodo Baggs!
