Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fast Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punch has chosen Prodigy - Hot Ride as his entrance music. Gary Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fast Punch!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch tries to sprawl but Lee drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Lee throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Lee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Punch wants to control but Lee is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Punch makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Punch.
Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lee trying to control but Punch is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Punch looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lee wants to pass the guard but Punch is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Gary Lee just wasn't active enough.
Lee has a takedown stuffed.
Punch thows a body shot but no joy.
Punch jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Punch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Punch cracks the inside of Lee's front leg.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Punch scores with a jab.
It looks like Gary Lee has been cut.
Punch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Punch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Punch finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Punch is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Punch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Punch sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Punch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Punch controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fast Punch wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lee walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lee shoots and misses
and Punch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Punch closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lee! Punch dives in looking to finish! Lee is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fast Punch!
