The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch.
Tanne fails to land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tanne circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tanne throws a big shot that misses.

Silva cracks Tanne with a big right hand but Tanne just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva is working for a kimura but Tanne is defending it quite comfortably.
Silva is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tanne sees it coming and defends easily.
Tanne tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silva is nestled in close to Tanne, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Martin Tanne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tanne looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well.
Tanne dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Tanne's head and hops out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tanne has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silva to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tanne is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silva pulls down on the head and he's put Tanne to sleep! This one is all over!
