The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Falcon circles away.
Matthew Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Falcon manages to avoid it.

Falcon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jackson keeping his opponent close.
Falcon wants to control for a moment but Jackson uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Falcon is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Falcon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jackson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Falcon is breathing heavily.
Jackson punishes Falcon's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Falcon to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Jackson!
