Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Troji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doktor Jesus!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jesus or perhaps it was just good defense by Troji which made him look bad.
Troji slaps away a takedown attempt from Jesus, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Troji really is a fat lump.
Troji is looking to clinch.
Jesus shoots in for a takedown but Troji shows good takedown defense.
David Troji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doktor Jesus.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jesus throws and elbow that misses. Troji uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jesus's guard. Nice move by Troji!
Troji would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Troji tries to bum rush Jesus with a series of wild strikes but Jesus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jesus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Troji to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jesus wants to sweep here but Troji controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Troji looking to control but Jesus is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Troji is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jesus is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Troji fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jesus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Troji counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jesus won't be happy with that.
Jesus is looking to regain half guard here but Troji keeps moving and retains side control.
David Troji overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Troji is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jesus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jesus is looking for a sweep. Troji is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Troji connects with a nice short shot to Jesus's temple.

Troji wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jesus keeps working.

Jesus is looking to improve his position.

Doktor Jesus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
