Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kumina Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and B Schnitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). B Schnitz will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kumina Sato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, B Schnitz!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnitz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sato as he avoids it easily.
Sato lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sato buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Schnitz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sato to the mat! Sato manages to get full guard.
Schnitz throwing strikes from guard but Sato blocks nicely.
Schnitz is in close to Sato's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Schnitz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Schnitz postures up in Sato's guard and throws a big left but Sato blocks it.
Schnitz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Schnitz is looking to work some ground and pound but Sato has wrist control.

Schnitz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sato works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Schnitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sato swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Schnitz throws and elbow that misses. Sato uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Schnitz's guard. Nice move by Sato!

Sato seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Sato might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
We're going to have a standup here because Kumina Sato wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Kumina Sato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of B Schnitz.
Sato darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Schnitz looks gassed!
Sato lands with a nice body punch.
Schnitz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Schnitz has a takedown stuffed.
Schnitz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sato lands with a cross.
Sato lands the left hand.
Sato connects with a good right hand that stumbles Schnitz. Schnitz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sato lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Sato throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Schnitz is rocked!

Sato scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Schnitz is still on wobbly legs! Can Sato finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schnitz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
B Schnitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schnitz bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Sato comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Schnitz falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Schnitz was out before he hit the floor!
