Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Kiwalski! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenobi shoots in but no luck this time. Kenobi feints and as Kiwalski raises his hands in defense, Kenobi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiwalski throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Kenobi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kiwalski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kenobi, into his guard. Kiwalski trying to control but Kenobi is working from the bottom. Kenobi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kiwalski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kenobi working from the bottom, still in full guard. Kenobi is looking for a sweep. Kiwalski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kenobi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kenobi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kiwalski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kenobi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kiwalski misses with the ground and pound. Kenobi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kiwalski off and has taken his back! Kiwalski trying to control the position but Kenobi manages to sink in the hooks. Kenobi is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Kiwalski defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kenobi's arms. Kiwalski manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kenobi's guard. Nice work there by Kiwalski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenobi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kiwalski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kenobi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kiwalski's back instead. Kenobi is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kiwalski is defending well though. Kenobi let's go of the attempt for now. Kiwalski turns into Kenobi and is now in his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenobi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kiwalski! Kenobi working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kiwalski looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kenobi! Submission of the night perhaps?
