Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wayne LePierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne LePierre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, John Dutch!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutch misses the jab.
Dutch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with LePierre but LePierre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
LePierre looks to score with a jab to the body but Dutch is just out of range.
LePierre bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dutch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dutch is looking to clinch.
A big left from LePierre misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dutch. LePierre does a little dance to reset his feet.
LePierre takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
LePierre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dutch chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before LePierre can pounce on him.
Dutch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
LePierre throws a good cross that connects.
LePierre throws a nice looking combination but Dutch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

LePierre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dutch circles away quickly and effectively.

LePierre is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dutch can do to turn this around?

LePierre throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dutch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and LePierre counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Dutch's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
LePierre thumps Dutch with a low kick.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Dutch uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by LePierre.

and Dutch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in LePierre's guard.

Dutch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LePierre swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
LePierre is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
LePierre lands a slapping body shot.
Dutch closes the distance and clinches up with LePierre, looking for a takedown. Dutch pushes LePierre against the cage but LePierre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dutch tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
LePierre takes a jab right on the kisser.
LePierre throws a head kick that half lands.

and LePierre counters with a thumping low kick.
LePierre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for LePierre, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
