Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig Bowie!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bowie avoids the head kick by Masters.
Blake Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masters throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jab, jab by Masters - just one landing.
Bowie tries to clinch but Masters moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Masters as Bowie shoots in.
Masters fails with an attempt to clinch.
Masters fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bowie on the side of the head.


It looks like Craig Bowie has been cut.

Masters tries to break the clinch but Bowie is controlling the position.

Bowie creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Masters's defenses.
Masters tries to circle away but Bowie has him pinned against the cage.
Masters tries to break the clinch but Bowie is controlling the position.

Bowie pushes off an throws an elbow but Masters leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Bowie has Masters pressed against the cage, preventing Masters from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bowie is pressed up against the cage. Masters has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bowie down to the mat. Bowie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Masters closes the distance but Bowie moves to the side
and Bowie counters with a thumping low kick.

and Bowie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bowie tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Masters.

Bowie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Masters doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bowie.
Bowie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Masters is trying to stand up here but Bowie is controlling him well.

Masters is positioning himself well to prevent Bowie advancing to mount.

Bowie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Masters is looking to escape.
Bowie wants to pass to mount but Masters is defending the position.

Masters throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Masters is looking to clinch but Bowie is avoiding it.
Masters throws a right and a left that both miss.
Masters slaps away a takedown attempt from Bowie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Masters stuffs the takedown attempt from Bowie. Bowie gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bowie misses with a head kick.
Bowie is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Masters, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bowie circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bowie counters with a stiff right hand.
Masters clinches but Bowie breaks the clinch
and Bowie finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Masters misses with a head kick.
Masters scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Masters tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bowie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Masters somewhat.

Masters rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bowie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Masters keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Blake Masters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Bowie.

Masters has one foot on Bowie's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Masters throws a sloppy head kick
and Bowie counters with a head kick. That will keep Masters thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

A close second round but Craig Bowie will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Masters drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bowie gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bowie is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Masters is defending well for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Masters looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bowie is fighting off a takedown attempt but Masters is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bowie to the mat. Bowie regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
