Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noriaki Ueyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takaku Fuke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noriaki Ueyama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takaku Fuke!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueyama has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fuke finds it's way round the side to connect with Ueyama's head.
The fighters circling - Fuke throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ueyama accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

and Ueyama counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fuke's knee momentarily.
Fuke throws a lazy right hand but Ueyama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Ueyama drops back looking for a leg! Fuke is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fuke manages to kick Ueyama off! Ueyama jumps back into Fuke's guard.

Fuke is trying to defend against the choke here but Ueyama has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Ueyama Tightens the hold and Fuke taps out furiously! Ueyama displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
