Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Makisig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Krkic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Makisig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mario Krkic! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makisig shoots in but Krkic avoids the takedown attempt easily. Makisig tries to close the distance and clinch but Krkic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Makisig missing with a left hand there. Krkic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nice takedown defense from Krkic. No joy for Makisig on that attempt. Krkic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Makisig's guard. Makisig is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krkic defends well. Makisig is trying to control the position but Krkic postures up. Krkic stops Makisig from standing up. Krkic pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Makisig is keeping the position for now. Makisig keeping moving, preventing Krkic from controlling successfully. Makisig is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Makisig is looking for a triangle but Krkic pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makisig is trying to keep Krkic in close.
Krkic trying to control but Makisig is working from the bottom. Krkic is pushing down on Makisig's leg trying to pass to half guard. Makisig is fighting to maintain full guard but Krkic has managed to sneak the leg through. Krkic trying to control the action but Makisig is working from the bottom. Makisig is pressing down on Krkic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Makisig looking for a guillotine here but Krkic defends easily.
Krkic is looking to stand up but Makisig won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krkic cracks Makisig with a solid left hand. Krkic avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Makisig is breathing heavily. Krkic wants to control from the top but Makisig keeps moving. Makisig escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krkic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krkic wants to pass the guard but Makisig is keeping the position. Krkic landing with the ground and pound. Makisig can't keep his opponent in guard - Krkic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Krkic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Makisig does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Makisig is trying to stand back up but Krkic is controlling him
Krkic is thwarting Makisig's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Krkic wants to stand up but Makisig is controlling the position.
Makisig gets full guard. Krkic postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Makisig tries to strike from the bottom.
Makisig looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Makisig throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Makisig trying to control the position.
Krkic wants to stand and escape but instead Makisig has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Makisig dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Makisig fails to land with a series of punches.
Makisig doesn't succeed with the takedown and Krkic counters by clinching up. Krkic gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Makisig regains guard.
Krkic's corner is telling him to maintain position. Makisig looking for a guillotine here but Krkic defends easily.
Makisig is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Krkic thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Juan Makisig overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makisig trying to control the position.
Makisig really is a fat lump. Makisig lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Krkic! Makisig swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
